What little boy hasn’t always wanted to get up close and personal with firefighters and their fire engines? Well, here’s your chance at the annual Killarney Motor Show powered by Kfm 94.5, at the Killarney International Raceway on Sunday, 4 November.
The Helderberg Fire Watch will be displaying their big Iveco fire engine, as well as a one-ton SKID vehicle, with a crew of seven to answer your questions and show you how everything works. They’ll also be treating the younger kiddies to a jumping castle while their dads get a closer look at how real fire-fighting is done.
The annual Killarney Motor Show powered by Kfm 94.5 is home to an astonishing variety of displays. In addition to the wide range of new cars and motorcycles on show, many of which are available for test drives or rides on the circuit or off-road on the Reeds Isuzu 4×4 Track at the off-road Adventure City, there are rides to be had on the Skid Monster, Mad Max-style AfrikaBurn vehicles, Tractors and a Monster Truck.
Check out hundreds of classic and custom cars and bikes – from street sleepers to outrageous stance cars, from vintage roadsters to stately saloons – feel the bass at the world-class sound-off, watch motorcycle stunting, Freestyle Motocross and V8 tractor tug-o-war, catch the live bands, refuel your tummy at one of the five food courts, and much, much more.
The Killarney Motor Show powered by Kfm 94.5 will open from 10am to 5pm on Sunday 4 November. Book at Computicket or pay at the gate; entry is R100 for adults, R50 for Scholars under 16 and free for children under 12.
